Testing the
passenger solution

The passenger PoC is set up to validate that the BAGTAG solution can benefit passengers in with their check-in and customer experience.

A group of 50 – 100 passengers will be asked to use BAGTAGs and provide feedback for a period of 1-3 months.

Testing the
crew solution

The PoC is set up to prove that the BAGTAG solution can benefit a crew in their daily work. The PoC will be focussing on the overall check-in experience for the crew and efficiency gains with check-in at the airport.

PoC overview

A step-by-step of our testing phases.

Step 01

Project
scoping

To clearly articulate the project’s objectives and desired outcomes, involve key stakeholders, establish a shared understanding among and create a guiding vision for the PoC trajectory. During this phase, we clearly outline the tasks, timelines, dependencies, and resource allocation required to achieve the defined objectives and deliverables.

Step 02

DCS integration

Integration with the Departure Control System (DCS) is a critical component of this project. The DCS is responsible for managing passenger check-in, baggage handling, and flight information. We have mutiple options to integrate DCS connection for a PoC, from full technical integration to manual.

Step 03

Testing & Reporting

Conducting comprehensive testing of the electronic bag tag hardware and software to ensure all features and functionalities work as intended. This includes verifying the display functionality, wireless communication, data synchronization, and compatibility with different mobile devices. To  test the user acceptance, we ask either passengers or airport staff to participate in the testing phase. Gathering feedback on the usability, intuitiveness, and overall experience of the electronic bag tag system will help identify any areas for improvement.

Next steps

Based on the outcomes of the testing phase, the next steps can be defined. These can vary between setting up a bigger pilot test of the electronic bag tag system at a selected airport or a specific set of flights to full deployment.
